Born and raised in Bucharest, Romania Robert was a quiet, ambitious without exceptional A student in school. At the age of 10 he joined the wrestling team. By 12 he was competing and traveling with the team.
At 17 when his wrestling career was coming to an end because of an accident which were he fell of an chair-lift between the mountain and was injured badly. He decided to leave to Germany then a year later went to Spain and worked in renovations.
At 19 he came to Canada and started working in construction and breaking stone to make money to be
able to bring his family to Canada. At 20 he bought a car wash and a year later sold it to bring down the
mother of his child, Nicole. Until the age of 26 he worked really hard to be able to bring his mother, father, and his youngest brother, Johnny to Canada. Shortly after his family came to Canada he went back to school to redo his high school diploma to get use to the system before going on to College then to University. Which unforuntaly he didn't finish his University degree.
At the age of 27 years old he became a father to a beautiful girl, Kelly whom he loves and adores very much. In 2004 he brought his middle brother, Maruis to Canada. After bring his family to Canada Robert started living the life he evermore wanted by buying expensive cars, motorcycles, clothes and jewelry. He was a man who was always on the go, had no patients for anything or anyone. Robert had a short temper but yet a winners mindset. He hated it when someone told him he couldn't do something he wanted to do and because of that he was always educating himself.
Winter of 2008 he proposed to the love of his life Erica. Wedding was planned for summer of 2009 which didn't happen.
It seemed Robert lived his life backwards. When he was young all he did was work to provid better for his family. As he got older he was full of life, was going out to parties with friends, meeting girls and most of all his passion for motocycle, which gave him the feeling of freedom. For whom encountered Robert was very blessed. He was a man who don't let people in, on the other hand when he did he was always there for you.
Robert is deeply loved and will be tremendously missed by many family members, friends, and co- workers.
So here is a little poem that Robert would tell us all:
When I am gone, release me, let me go...
I have so many things to see and do.
You mustn't tie yourself to me with tears,
Be happy that we had so many years.
I gave you my love. You can only guess
How much you gave me in happiness.
I thank you for the love you each have shown,
But now it's time I traveled alone.
So grieve a while for me, if grieve you must.
Then let your grief be comforted by trust.
It's only for awhile that we must part.
So if you need to call and I will come.
Though you can't see me or touch me, I'll be near.
And if you listen with your heart, you'll hear,
All of my love around you soft and clear.
And when you must come this way alone...
I'll greet you with a smile and " Welcome Home."

HIM

I knew Robert. He was determined to get better every day, for his family. I remember when i used to see him in high school. He will always have a cup of coffee, a manly way of walking, black backpack and sport way of dressing. He was a player but everything stopped when he met the love of his life Erica.

They fall in love in sept 2001 and from that day on they love each other like the very first day they met. She loved him like i never seen a woman loved a man, and he loved her the same. Until now i know she still loves him, but the circumstances put them apart.

She found out he had a baby girl in 2003, but her love for him was so strong that she accepted him with baby Kelly. She was always at his side, no questions asked. There was Love, happiness, passion between them.

They finished high school and went to Dawson college. Robert loved her. His love for her was real. He went to university - she stayed at college. He was determined to finish his studies and Erica, of course always at his side. Erica loved Kelly as her own child. she treated her as her own. She was such a good woman to him, one of those that you always want at your side.
In Sep 2008 Robert proposed to Erica. That was when i completely realized that Robert adored her. There was something that screwed up the relationship. A spell or something negative that fall on them. He suffered when they separate. I know she would never love someone the way she loved him, even if she goes with somebody else. He found some other girls to forget Erica, but he couldn't she was always in his heart. There was no life without her, there was no happiness. He used to tell me he would leave all the girls [at that moment to forget her] just to have Erica with him. They were soul mates.
Why am just talking about them? because as Robert told me --- his life started when he met Erica--- and when she left-- he was gone.
Robert was like a brother to me, Now is just her, and she is the only thing that keeps me close to Robert. She is now my little sister.
I am sure he wants the best for her. I am sure he still loves her. I wish he could be here with us and be as happy as before.
That was Robert --- There wasn't a day that he wouldn't mention Erica. That was his life. Always Loving her.

Waiting at the Door

I can’t explain so deep inside
The very fabric of my soul
Only a heart that grieves such loss
Can ever truly understand

It’s like you’re waiting at the door
Until a loved one comes back home
You feel a longing in your heart
When they appear the longing stops

But in a loss that never ends
You’re always standing at that door
You feel the longing in the breeze
So incomplete and never filled

I cannot find the words to say
Just what it’s like to want forever
Never seeing them again
Just always waiting at the door
